Gateway ENT (ear, nose and throat specialists)

I am considered a new patient and needed medical attention from an experienced ear doctor. I extensively researched doctors and found Dr. Hardeman was both experienced and willing to see me during his very busy schedule. As a new patient you can often wait 8 to 12 weeks to be seen even if you have an immediate medical need. During my visit he assessed my condition, discussed medical options, and then during my visit he performed surgery that addressed my ear problem. I am very impressed with his ability to get results and very grateful I found an experienced doctor. I will be continuing with him as my ENT doctor!

Zero stars would be better. I spent 1.5 hours calling their number and my calls went nowhere even though I called within office hours. There's no option to talk to a live person so I selected option #2 for appointments even though I only wanted to know if they accept my insurance. I then emailed Gateway ENT. I got a reply back quickly that said "Yes we accept your insurance. Call for an appointment". Yeah well I had other questions first like, do I need to make a referral first? There's no way to find out because when I called again I couldn't get through ... again. After about a 5 min. wait my call was transferred to a recording asking me to leave a message. I'm deaf and can't accept calls through the Relay service, I can only make them. Leaving a message doesn't work for me. Then I decided to look at the Google reviews for Gateway ENT and am glad I did. According to many reviews they're not just difficult to get in touch with, they're pretty nasty, bad at billing, bad at providing accurate information and only care about money. Glad I found out beforehand.

Very pleased with my experience with Dr West and the Gateway staff. Dr West was extremely easy to talk with, spent time speaking and examining me and I did not feel rushed that my issue was a waste of his time. My issue was addressed and i am already doing better with his instruction/prescription. I even brought up an issue that was ENT related but not the reason for this visit and he followed up on that issue as well. Highly recommend Dr West.

my visit to Gateway was one of the best in a doctors office both before and after. I was emailed the forms that were needed ahead of my appointment and I was able to enter the info on and print the forms on my computer. office staff was very pleasant and I was actually taken ahead of my appointment time. Doctor was quick and took care of my problem.
